“The ability to trade Club nights for travel any place Abercrombie & Kent operates has always been important to our members,” explains Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club Managing Director Stephanie Papaioannou. “Last year members traded nights for A&K travel, including African safaris, adventure cruises in the Galapagos, family holidays in China, and stays at European villas. Prospective members want that same access to Abercrombie & Kent’s worldwide travel services.”

Members of the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club can vacation in any of the clubs 17 private residences in beach, mountain and golf destinations with the flexibility to choose a new destination every time they travel or return to a favorite destination again and again. Each residence is a spacious, comfortable home away from home, usually four bedrooms and four baths, to accommodate extended families. Travel arrangements are seamless and stress-free with a dedicated Global Experience Manager to orchestrate the trip and an on-site Destination Host.

Members can also exchange some of their annual membership nights for vacations at:

  1. 26 European villas in Tuscany and the South of France
  2. 10 Ritz-Carlton Destination Club locations: Aspen Highlands, Bachelor Gulch and Vail, Colo.; St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.; Jupiter, Fla.; San Francisco and North Lake Tahoe, Calif.; Kapalua Bay in Maui and Kauai Lagoons, Hawaii; and Abaco, The Bahamas.
  3. Hundreds of tours through parent A&K travel, including small group escorted journeys, Signature itineraries with a private guide or completely tailor-made private travel.

The club recently lowered its annual dues for each of the four membership levels. The size of the travel credit depends on the membership level selected as follows; $5,000 for a Hemisphere membership plan; $10,000 for a Global membership plan; $15,000 for a Universal membership plan; $20,000 for a Univeral Plus membership plan.

Note, many of the destination clubs offer special incentives to new members - these can be in the form of travel credits, discounts, extra travel days or special services -  so it's well worth asking if there is a promotion available before you join.
