Fractional operator Airshare has ordered three super midsize Challenger 350 aircraft, with options for 17 more. This will enable the Kansas City-based private aviation company to double the size of its fractional ownership fleet, which is currently made up of light jets.
Challenger 350
The Bombardier Challenger 350 has been one of the most popular super-mid business jets for several years in a row, with significant uptake amongst charter and fractional fleet operators. It offers a range of up to 3,200 nm (5,926 km), a max speed of 477 kn (882 km/h) and can have seating for up to 10 passengers.
Airshare Fractions
Airshare’s fractional program provides each owner of a 1/16th share with 20 days and unlimited flight time (based on a customer’s allocation of days with a maximum 14-hour crew duty day). Having the pilots and aircraft stay with shareowners as they travel allows them to visit multiple locations and adjust their schedules at a moment’s notice. When Airshare shareowners begin and end in the same location, while keeping the aircraft and crew with them, they save up to 35% off their hourly rate.
Until the addition of these Challengers, the Airshare day-based fractional jet program, was available on Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 light jets. Which have a range of up to 2,000 nm and seating for up to 8 people.

Airshare
Airshare also offers its own jet card program, EMBARK, which is also a unique days-based program. The company also provides aircraft management, on-demand charter and maintenance services, and has received IS-BAO Stage 3 and ARGUS Platinum designations.
For the moment, Airshare says the Challengers will be available through the fractional program but not the jet card program.
