The Aspen Times reported the sale of all 275 of the memberships at the St. Regis Private Residence Club in Aspen. Prices varied between $300,000 and $1.5m for four weeks of ownership of a 2 or 3 bedroom suite.

The properties are spacious, as is typical with private residence clubs, with sizes of approximately 2,200 square feet for the three-bedroom residences and approximately 1,700 square feet for the two-bedroom residences. The sale structures were interesting in that they offered buyers the flexibility of either fixed residence times, that's to say you always stay in the same weeks each year, or weeks that could float between summer and winter. Most of the other private residence clubs have one or other structure, either fixed or floating, but don't often combine them.

The Aspen Times reported that the top sale price of $1.5m was for a 3 bedroom suite, for four fixed weeks covering the key holiday periods of Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving and July 4th.

As with most private residence clubs the members at the St. Regis enjoy a wealth of luxury services, including a residence club concierge, ski butlers, and in-room dining from Olives Aspen. Club membership also includes valet parking and storage services so that members can leave clothing, sporting equipment and personal items. Members can also use the resorts 15,000-square-foot Remède Spa.

Aspen was the first Residence Club that St. Regis opened. In October this year it opened the St. Regis Residence Club, New York, in its flagship New York hotel, and is planning to open a Residence Club in Punta Mita, Mexico in 2007.
