The Calgary based equity destination club has recently issued a new share offering and also added a new home in Greece for use by its members.

Destination M Gytheio, Greece

Share Offering

Destination M maintains a waitlist for potential new owner members, and while on the waitlist, potential members can reserve and use 7 nights at the Destination M properties. So, it’s a good great way for people to try out the club.

At the end of 2021, Destination M had a new share offering that was taken up by about half of the members on the waitlist, said Brian Anderson, the CEO and Chairman of Destination M. At the time of writing, all the waitlist spots have been backfilled by potential new members. The club expects to have another share offering to the waitlist in the spring time.

Destination M’s real estate committee is actively pursuing new homes to add to their portfolio. About half of locations they are looking into are urban, as the best deals seem to be in cities, and to have a balanced portfolio of homes they want to add urban locations.

New Home In Greece

The club has just added a beautiful stone home in Gytheio, Greece in the southern Peloponnese – an area rich in history and culture.

Gytheio is a rustic town on the Mediterranean, that features multiple restaurants, bakeries, roof top lounges, traditional tavernas and bars along the waterfront. There are several beaches within 15 minutes of the property and many historically significant ruins located throughout the Peloponnese.

The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home has been recently restored, and sits on a hillside just a few steps from the town square. It features panoramic Mediterranean Sea views from both the covered patio off the living room and from the open-air rooftop patio.

“We had a great response, and members were really excited when we brought this online,” said Brian Anderson. He further explained that multiple members had booked other European properties, as part of their planned trips in 2022, so that they can stay in several locations in addition to visiting this new home in Greece.

In ancient Greece, Gytheio was the port for Sparta, which lies about 40 minutes away. Olympia, Mycenae and Mystras are all good day trips, and boats still head out of the harbor to several of the Greek Islands. The home is about a 3-hour drive from Athens.
