Description

G2G Collection was a private luxury vacation club with a strong philanthropic element. It closed its doors in March 2020 - an early victim of the economic effects of the coronavirus - and subsequently filed for bankruptcy. The Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing was in the name of The G2G Collection, LLC on May 20, 2020 in Georgia Northern Bankruptcy Court. The listing showed between 200-999 creditors were owed a total of about $2m, but the company had assets of under $50,000.

Half of the initial $15,000 membership fee, so $7,500, was donated to a charity of the members choice. In addition 5% of each nightly rental rate was also given to charitable causes. The club said it had raised about $8.5m for charity over its lifetime.

G2G Members had access to exclusive luxury residences, yachts and cruises, tours, five-star hotel suites, and voluntourism opportunities, in some of the most beautiful and desirable destinations around the world.

The clubs Destination Managers worked with each member to craft a schedule of vacation activities to maximize their time, and to help create meaningful memories. In addition, G2G offered numerous opportunities to experience the power of giving. Members could participate in various charitable acts.

G2G Collection was headquartered in Atlanta, GA.
