Luxury destination club Inspirato has announced the arrival of a new membership option. It has a lower initiation fee than the Family membership level, and provides access to all the club homes.

Promising "More Vacation, Less Commitment", Inspirato's Key Membership requires a $10,000 up-front initiation fee. This compares to an initiation fee of $20,000 and an annual membership fee of $3,600 for Family Membership. During the special introductory pricing deal, clients who sign up for Key Membership before November 20 2015 receive a discounted initiation fee of just $2,000.

So what does Key Membership offer and how does it differ from Family or Executive Memberships?

Key Members gain access to the full Inspirato Collection of luxury vacation destinations, from Abaco, Bahamas to Zighy Bay, Oman (pictured above). They also receive the same high quality concierge service that all Inspirato members enjoy. The difference is in the booking: Family and Executive Members can book residences up to one year in advance, while Key Members have a 180 day booking window. For the Inspirato hotel room and suites inventory, Key Members share the same access and the same booking window of 180 days as Family and Executive Members. Key Members also have access to members-only Inspirato vacation options and the Jaunt properties, but they do not receive the early access to these options that other levels of membership enjoy. The new Key Membership option will make the Inspirato portfolio of properties even more accessible to those who may have previously hesitated about joining, while still ensuring the high quality of service that Inspirato clients have come to expect .

The other principal difference between the Key Membership and the Family or Executive options, other than early booking access, is that Key Members are not allowed to share their membership benefits with family, siblings, or clients. However, for those who know that they will not be sharing memberships, and who do not mind having a shorter reservation window, the Key Membership will be a highly attractive option. Since membership is monthly, you have the flexibility to cancel at any time. Alternatively, should you wish to take advantage of the additional perks that come with a Family Membership, Inspirato staff will assist you with upgrading.
