Description

NetJets was one of the world's first aircraft management businesses and was the pioneer of fractional ownership in 1986. Warren Buffett bought the company in 1998, adding it to the Berkshire Hathaway portfolio.

Today, NetJets has over 7,000 employees and operates over 400,000 flights annually to 200 countries and thousands of airports. It is the largest fractional jet operator in the world. The company says roughly 1 in 5 business jet departures in the U.S. are a NetJets aircraft.

NetJets Aircraft Fleet

The NetJets worldwide fleet of 900+ aircraft is equivalent in size to the world's largest airlines. The fractional fleet offers aircraft in all cabin sizes from light jets to large cabin ultra-long range aircraft. The fleet has been growing rapidly over the last few years with orders for ultra-long range Global 8000's , Phenom 300 light jets and Netjets has expressed its intent to buy 150 eVTOL's from Lilium when these new aircraft become available.

The overall fleet also includes hundred of aircraft managed by sister company Executive Jet Managment.

Netjets main operations center is based in Columbus, OH and provides customer service, owner services, dispatchers, meteorologists, crew support, training and safety.
