In expanding its Quintess Beyond program, the destination club has added some new and interesting locations for its members. All three of these locations are firsts for the destination club sector.

Quintess Cliff Road estate, Nantucket

Nantucket

The Quintess Beyond hostess, Jeanne Caspe, on Nantucket sums up the island experience "People come here to get away from everything else," explains Jeanne. "There are no chain stores. No McDonalds. No traffic lights. When you arrive, you definitely feel like you're on vacation."

This spacious 4,700 sq.ft. home (pictured above) has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, so there's lots of space for friends and family. The home features a 25-foot art gallery with a collection of 17th century prints, a library and cozy sitting area with attached balcony, a loft area above the kitchen with views of the town spires, harbor and Nantucket Sound and there's plenty of outdoor dining spaces on the pool patio and balcony adjacent to the dining room.

Jeanne's favorite location on Nantucket is Miacomet, as she explains "This is a very special location – off the beaten path, with no crowds and not even a sign to let you know where it is. As you wind through sand dunes down this meandering two-mile path, turtles come out on either side of the road and you are struck by the total, natural silence of the place. Then suddenly you see it – the huge crashing, ocean. There are hardly ever more than three cars here because no one can find it, and you can walk for miles. This may or may not be my top-secret location for VIP lobster bakes."

Fire Island

Located just off the south shore of Long Island, Fire Island, with its vaunted reputation as a glamorous bohemian summer hangout for artists, celebrities and low-key beach-seekers alike, is at once accessible and also blissfully isolated.

The Quintess Beyond hideaway is perched on the island's highest point and only 40 yards from the Atlantic, sloping gently down to the Great South Bay. The home provides unparalleled water views and sweeping vistas of the pristine National Seashore. It is one of only four homes nestled in an exclusive community just one half mile from Water Island and two miles from the Pines and was designed by the internationally-acclaimed Richard Gluckman.

The four bedroom residence is located exactly on the island's halfway point. This is the ideal starting point for an exploratory bike ride or a day spent in relative solitude hanging out on one of the 6 wrap-around decks on 3 levels – overall there's 2,500 square feet of deck space, providing ocean and bay views.

Buenos Aires

Local host Ariel Lopez Varela says "There is so much to do and see in Buenos Aires, and the city has such a rich history," explains Ariel. "I know all of the small treasures, the gems that not many know about. My greatest joy is finding out what a guest is most interested in, and then matching just the right activities to their unique preferences."

Puerdo Madero Buenos Aires

The Quintess Beyond home is located in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, just a block and a half from the famed Alvear Palace Hotel and two blocks from the Palacio DuHau as well as the Buenos Aires Design Center. This three-bedroom penthouse is housed in a 1920s French-style building with doorman and handsome first floor garden. It is appointed with rare Art Deco antiques, tasteful French details and is accessed by its own private elevator.

Discussing his favorite times of the year, Ariel adds "I love the autumn in March and April. The summer is on its way out and so it is not too hot, not too humid and not too cold; it's a beautiful time to be in Argentina. The spring in October and November is another favorite. The buds are unfurling and everything is blossoming; it's just gorgeous. And during January, even though it can be very hot, the city empties out because everyone is on holiday, which means you can grab a taxi without waiting, get the reservations at the busy restaurants and see the city in a whole new way."

Quintess launched it's Quintess Beyond program a few years ago to provide additional locations for members and offer hand-picked experiences. Each trip to these locations is tailor-made to suit the needs of an individual member and their family and friends. Other current locations in the program include Botswana, Tanzania, the Galapagos Islands and South East Asia.
