Reciprocal partnerships between destination clubs are becoming the norm. Exclusive Resorts has recently formed more of these relationships than other clubs. The latest partnership between Ritz-Carlton Destination Club and Exclusive provides additional vacation locations for members of both clubs.

Ed Kinney, vice president of corporate affairs for The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club told SherpaReport "Our new partnership with Exclusive Resorts allows our Members to deposit their allocations and stay, subject to availability, at a select number of Exclusive Resorts destinations including the Cayman Islands, Los Cabos, Las Vegas, Costa Rica, Whistler (British Columbia), Scottsdale, New York and the Kohola Coast."

Ed continued "Ritz-Carlton Destination Club Members will deposit time in week increments, and they will be given seven nights to use at the applicable Exclusive Resorts properties during select dates."

Exclusive Resorts members will have access to The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club's properties in Aspen, Jupiter, St. Thomas, Vail and Lake Tahoe. "Our new alliance with The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club not only broadens our reach, it ensures that our members have access to some of the best vacation options available today," says Philippe Bourguignon, CEO of Exclusive Resorts.

Both Exclusive Resorts and The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club Members benefit from coordination of everything from airport pick-up and pre-arrival provisioning of the residence, to arranging a seamless vacation experience. Accommodations for both brands vary by location but residences typically range in size from two- to five‐bedrooms and are luxuriously‐appointed featuring state of the art audio/visual equipment and gourmet kitchens.

Lee Cunningham, executive vice president and COO of The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club added "Our focus is to expand our members' vacation experiences and this strategic alliance with Exclusive Resorts is a natural fit as we share a similar vision of exceptional service and offering distinctive vacation locations for our members."

Exclusive Resorts is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year. It has grown to 3500 members who have enjoyed more than 165,000 curated luxury vacations in over 61 global destinations during its first decade. Exclusive Resort club partners including Banyan Tree, Eden Club and Residences in St. Andrews, Scotland, The Hideaways Club and most recently Elite Alliance which brought access to six new additions including Bermuda, Napa, Rosemary Beach and La Quinta, California.

Ritz-Carlton Destination Club had previously had a reciprocity partnership with the Abercrombie and Kent Residence Club. Exclusive Resorts recently took over the management of the Abercrombie and Kent Club, which looks like it opened the doors for this new partnership.

As we've said before, these reciprocal partnerships are a good way for members of clubs to experience new, additional vacation locations, and at the same time receive the high level of service that they expect as destination club members.
