The private aviation company has launched its first foray into membership-based products. The offering provides competitive, fixed hourly rates for on-demand jet charter.

This new membership program is available for an annual fee of $9,500 and provides access to a network of over 1,000 Skyjet approved aircraft.

Features of the program include:

  • Flexibility to choose between four jet sizes and two age classes
  • Pay-as-you-go fixed rates, locked in from the date of sign-up
  • A 15% discount on qualifying round-trip travel

The one-way rates in different geographic areas are shown in the table below.

For flights in the Continental US and intra-Europe there is a 10 hour minimum reservation notice on regular days. Flights in the Caribbean have a 72 hour notice period on non-peak days.

Taxi time is billed at 12 minutes per leg. For travel on designated peak travel days, flights must be booked a minimum of 120 hours in advance.

Explorer members are able to book, manage, and make payment for flights instantly with the new iOS and Android enabled Skyjet Explorer App. The company has seen 25% of all bookings delivered through its digital platforms. This Explorer App offers instant trip bookings via credit card, trip and account management capabilities, flight status and location-based push notifications, and a 24/7/365 live chat feature which allows for immediate assistance and insight as needed.

Skyjet has seen revenue up 22% year over year. It is part of one of the world’s largest aviation portfolios, Directional Aviation, which also owns Sentient, Flexjet and Flight Options. This new product offers a jet card type offering, but without the prepayment that most jet cards require.
